@BigGee84
Whats the rush? We might as well get used to the fact that we can’t have everything. In my opinion we are way to spoiled nowadays. There was a time where there only were horse and carts, so even with a little waiting sometimes, we shouldn’t complain about chargingtimes. Remember, if everybody waits for the ultimate to come, it will never happen. We have to start somwhere.

Cheers

The contouring looks better than the typical American car. For its size I think this car should’ve been a 4-seater. Also, wouldn’t having 4 motors increase the maintenance cost?

anupamvipul233 September 8, 2010 at 11:57 am

It will work in India because every bodey have access 3 phase but price
2 00 000 euro is dame high = use less car just a prototype

BigGee84 September 8, 2010 at 12:07 pm

* 10 minutes on 3-phase! I really like this car, but unless charging points become as ubiquitous as fuel pumps, then it I do not believe it will catch on. If you want to recharge this using household 13A power, then forget 10 minutes!

tw25rw September 8, 2010 at 12:40 pm

So they can stitch it up like they did the Tesla Roadster?

puffrooster September 8, 2010 at 12:47 pm

good question, price777!

I would like to know how this car performs!?

price777999 September 8, 2010 at 1:28 pm

and when is it gona be on Topgear ?

price777999 September 8, 2010 at 1:51 pm

somebody said (480kw) or about 640 HP ? does it really have 640 HP ?

price777999 September 8, 2010 at 2:46 pm

now i know why they sold RR , TVR ,Landrover , out with the old technology in with the new .

michaelrmonk September 8, 2010 at 3:41 pm

Superb.. I want one!
Just one question.. are those wheel motors okay with deep puddles.. I mean.. we get a lot of those in the UK dont we?

tenminutesgone September 8, 2010 at 3:50 pm

My god this car is achingly beautiful. It is redolent of the Maserati Ghibli. Surely an Italian must have had a hand in the styling..! It’s a Jaguar that Jaguar probably wishes it could have made. Perhaps the front grille is the only small fly in the ointment. Rear end is wonderful. Side-on, and three-quarters rear view, it is sublime.
10 minute charge, 200 miles on a 10 minute charge, zero emissions, 4 secs. 0-60…it’s all sounding Holy Grail-ish.
Electric tech is doing it’s best, for sure.

puffrooster September 8, 2010 at 4:14 pm

The internal combustion engine is history, the future is now!

and I almost bought a Z06…

thendarius September 8, 2010 at 4:40 pm

good music good car = perfect

AZURA888 September 8, 2010 at 5:13 pm

finally the electric car has matured, it can’t be considered a toy anymore.

liberaluk10 September 8, 2010 at 5:21 pm

OIL IS..

-Finite, Under growing demand, Polluting, Mostly foreign owned, Imported over long distances, Imported from unstable countries, Devastating in the event of a spill, Our reason for invading Iraq, One of the reasons we threaten Iran, Inflamed problems in Sudan, Burnt inefficiently in cars, Volatile & unpredictable, Expensive, Unsustainable.

..and somehow this dodgy product supports almost every aspect of our existence!

How much evidence do we need?

PaulEllisSmith September 8, 2010 at 5:45 pm

the front of the car looks like a 599 gtb ferrari, the back looks like the new 2009 camaro and the side looks like an aston martin or jaguar.

stephenok711 September 8, 2010 at 6:34 pm

More like an Aston Martin Vanquish

ronmann606 September 8, 2010 at 7:20 pm

The most capable drivetrain imo

AlessandroAUS September 8, 2010 at 8:13 pm

Not quite true, there are 120kw motors for each wheel, (480kw) or about 640 HP. Also off the line the motors will draw considerably more than their rated power. But yes, during normal use the draw will be far less.

riohaga September 8, 2010 at 8:40 pm

looks like a Vette and Viper morphed together. Looks good, hopefully they can actually produce this vehicle

NothingEverything1 September 8, 2010 at 8:58 pm

BEAST

pdm172 September 8, 2010 at 9:05 pm

Hmm.. Looks more like a American muscle car than British solid perfect sports car.

SgtBeefcake September 8, 2010 at 9:47 pm

This car is so awesome, I hope it goes into production.

cyborgtroy September 8, 2010 at 10:30 pm

Yes, battery packs are measured in kilowatt-hours, not kilowatts, and the motor will only draw 120 kw at full power, most of the time the car will be far below that.

SeigeCJ September 8, 2010 at 10:39 pm

haha wow! thats awesome how did he get to do that job. tell him he did a very gd job!!! :D
