And I thought I was detail oriented! Honestly, no one I know is as detail oriented and picky in terms of authenticity for props, but Adam definitely gets the levels of symbolism and why there are people like him and I that love lightsabers and ODST helmets and whatever.

You probably shouldn’t give a shit about that comment either because it further makes you sound like an idiot.

@epilepticdwarf Maybe if you weren’t such a faggot replying to a month old comment that I don’t really give a shit about, you’d understand, fucking douche-bag.

This guy talks sense but WHY THE FUCK DO THE FUCKIN AUDIENCE LAUGH AT EVERY FUCKING THING? IT AINT EVEN FUNNY. they just laugh to try and make everyone think “oh why are they laughing? they must be all clever to understand that clever funny joke” and to suck up to the person talking. For example, at 00:55 you hear a fat bastard laugh for no fucking reason. then at 1:10 then at 1:20 his bitches follow him. AND THEN AT 5:15 THEY LAUGH AT A FUCKIN PICTURE WHAT FUCKIN SENSE OF HUMOUR IS THAT???

I have to quote the vlogbrothers (specifically, John Green) on this one: “Saying someone’s a nerd is like saying ├Łou like stuff’.” and “The great thing about being a nerd is that you’re allowed to be unironically enthusiastic about things.”

Having said that, I am proud to count Adam Savage as a humongous, unbelievably made-of-awesome nerd.

Haha! Yes, mavrick45, apparently there are enough trolls out there to turn anything positive (even something as awesome as this video) into a negative…and a negative based on bullshit at that! Lol @ humanity. OH THE HUMANITY!

“They burned the rest in a bon fire, so funny I forgot to? laugh,

    Stupid Americans.. ”

British Museum. Hence, not Americans. Idiot.

First the dodo is always portrayed as huge than its actual size..the dutch governor always recorded everythin they came across in the island..n they made pictures of dodo, which is not exactly
identical some made is small and some made is big..there are many dodo skeletons found in Mauritius in a place called ‘mare aux songe’..btw, the last dodo was seen in the 17th century…

Adam Savage is my hero, not for Mythbusters, but because he shows the same kind of obsession for projects that I do from time to time. I just wish I had the kind of resources and knowledge that he does.

I believe that we should clone the extinct dodo bird, we cloned the pyrenean ibex, I mean why can’t we clone a dodo?

it isn’t meant to be a joke, adam is high lighting the stupidity of the bitish natural history museum. The audience are laughing because it was such a stupid discision to make, and i agree with him. why would any proffessional destroy the only remaining specimen of a dodo bird. so you’d be a little more accurate to say the english are stupid, even if it is rediculous and xenophobic. your only making yourself look more rediculous, so just please, stop your negativity is repugnant.

I’ll have to disagree with you, I do find this very intresting, aswell as funny. However I’m sure your far more of an intellectual than myself or any of the other TED attendants, with an extremely well developed sense of humour. I hope that second bit bit sound to sarcastic. In the future you should consider that maybe it’s yourself with the humour disfunction and not “u people”” as I think most people would agree with me in stating that this is an excellent presentation.
